Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler has announced Foster Moore® as the exclusive licensee and reseller of the Department of State’s award-winning UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) secured transaction software.
The agreement will provide Foster Moore™ with an exclusive licensee arrangement to make the software available and productized for sale to other states within the USA wishing to gain service efficiencies by fully automating or upgrading their UCC Filing and other business registry systems. The uniformity of the UCC standards, widely accepted by most states, makes this software highly transferrable state-to-state with minimal customization and modification.
Foster Moore™ will be productizing CDOS best-in-class UCC IP/software into their globally recognized Catalyst™ Product Suite making it available to every state in the union, offering a traditional stand-alone installation and also an innovative, cost-effective hosted SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) model. This new SaaS capability will offer States wishing to deploy or upgrade existing registry systems the benefit of cost savings coupled with process efficiency, data and transaction security and perennial best-in-class functionality. In the last 15 years the private sector has proven the exceptional value of hosted web-based solutions, and Foster Moore™ is confident that the time has come for the public sector to benefit from this established model via a US-based, hosted infrastructure.
